To compliment the NYFW S/S '11 presentation of Collection 4 by white-hot The TwentyTen, the forces at We Came In Peace, Fake Love, as well as the venerable Matthew Barela, created an amazing short video which showcases the line in addition to telling an eerie story of fashion and madness. I selected the accompanying music for the video, and curated a soundtrack for the evening inspired by the song, the experience and the collection. If you weren't able to attend in person, hopefully this mix will give you and idea of what you missed. Sorry I couldn't provide the open bar.

A while back, some friends and I had a CD mixtape club, where the ongoing theme was to be Compliments. Some in the group took it as if it meant we should compliment each other musically, while others took it more as an opportunity to bestow musical gifts upon the group, compliments of themselves. Not sure what I intended mine to be, but it ended up being a lovers mixtape and I'd love to share it with you. I was too busy being in love yesteday to post it, but it's timeless, so cut me some slack.
